Freshwater Charters

Guided steelhead and salmon trips on the Skeena River system and selected Terrace-area waters.

Skeena watershed

Wild steelhead, Chinook, Coho, and river days built around conditions.

Freshwater trips are the core of Skeena Wilderness Fishing Charters: jet boat, drift boat, raft, fly, Spey, and gear fishing options depending on the river, season, water level, and target species.

The Terrace region is valuable because it gives anglers options. The Skeena, Copper/Zymoetz, Kalum, Nass-area systems, and nearby tributaries can fish very differently from one week to the next. A strong freshwater program is not only about knowing one run; it is about knowing where to move when the weather, visibility, and river levels change.

Trips can be built for experienced Spey anglers, gear anglers, mixed groups, or guests who want a guided introduction to northern British Columbia steelhead and salmon fishing.

  • Target species: wild steelhead, Chinook, Coho, and other Pacific salmon depending on timing.
  • Methods: Spey, single-hand fly, drift fishing, gear fishing, jet boat access, drift boat, raft, and walk-and-wade where appropriate.
  • Trip types: single day guiding, multi-day packages, lodge-based trips, and custom itineraries.
  • Best fit: anglers who want local water knowledge and the flexibility to adapt to conditions.
